Yoga Retreat with Sandra & Gunnhildur
(23 - 30 July 2022)
1.14 sa tu dīrgha-kāla-nairantarya-satkārāsevito dṛḍha-bhūmiḥ
Practice becomes firmly established when it has been cultivated uninterruptedly and with devotion over a prolonged period of time.
We are happy to invite you to the magical place of Pavlos in Crete to finally reunite as a sangha!
This last year has presented us with some challenges.
One of them is to maintaining our practice while being entirely on our own.
A regular, continuous practice over a long period of time is the foundation for realizing our true self.
During the course of this week you will learn how to develop your own personal practice, one that is in alignment with your life and energy, allowing the practice to nourish you, so if for whatever reason you cannot practice with your teacher and sangha, you always have your anchor with you.
The daily practice will include asana, meditation, pranayama, yoga sutra and of course chanting.

*Grihasta (Householder) The second quarter of spiritual life is spent as a householder, creating and supporting a family, fulfilling one’s worldly interests and duties.
Sandra is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher (800+hs).
She graduated in Rhinebeck, NY, in 2010, and has been teaching Jivamukti Yoga in Berlin and worldwide since then. She started her regular Ashtanga/Mysore practice in 2016.
In 2019, she decided to found her own Yoga Shala – Practice – to pass on her experiences from her own Jivamutki and Asthanga practice. She is grateful to her teachers who guided her on this path so far.
Sandra has a deep trust in the transformative power of a daily practice.
She teaches demanding, but simple classes, without any hectic, but with a lot of fire.
Her development to become a teacher of Yoga has also been shaped by various work experiences – being an actrice, a photographer as well as running an acting agency. Sandra is the mother of three children.
Gunnhildur is an 800 hs Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and a Certified Yoga Nidra Teacher by Amrit Yoga Institute.
She graduated in Costa Rica in 2017 and has been teaching in Berlin ever since. By practicing daily she has tremendous trust in the healing power and transformational potential the practices of Yoga have.
She is very grateful for all the teachers who have supported her and guided her along the way.
Her classes are demanding, with a fierce and gentle touch in equal parts. Gunni loves sharing the benefits of yoga practices with her students. By focusing on conscious breathing, we can actively take charge over our own energy; in turn, healing can happen, further strengthening of who we truly are.
