Location – Transportation
Pavlos’ Taverna – Pension is located at the South Coast of Crete, 55 km south of Rethymno.
The Route :
Either if you land at the airport of Heraklion or Chania, you have first to drive towards Rethimnon (about 1.5 hours from Heraklion and 1 hour from Chania), and then from Rethymnon drive through the villages Armenoi, Miksorouma, Spili and Akoumia. As soon as you reach village Akoumia, drive through it and follow the only road (about 12 km) to reach Triopetra beach.
There are signs "Pavlos - Triopetra" or "Pension Pavlos" all along the road, making sure that you won’t loose your way.

Remember :
Pension "Pavlos" is only a few steps from the beach, just above a small natural harbour, where the fishing boats of the locals are tied up.
In order to reach Triopetra you need either to rent a car or get a taxi.
Reaching Triopetra by bus is not possible.
Suggestion :
If your vacations will last longer than one week, a good idea would be for you to rent a car for the period of your stay. In this way you will be more flexible to explore other beaches in the area or visit the graphical villages.
